Fishing trips last a full day. BIGGER'n BETTER departs from York, ME Town Dock #2 at 6:45 AM and returns to dock around 5:00 PM. If you catch a large fish, it will be our pleasure to register its length and weight with the "Maine Tackle Busters Club." You will receive a photo of yourself with your fish along with a patch and certificate from the State of Maine. In-shore striper fishing Northeast Charter Services, Inc. has a cooperative arrangement with another Captain who will take you into prime striper areas along the shore in a smaller boat (prices per quote). Off-shore ground fishing Off-shore ground fishing takes place at Jeffery's Ledge, 35 miles off the coast of Maine in 175-350 feet of water. Participants have been successful in catching cod, haddock, pollock, flounder, and wolffish while off-shore ground fishing. |
