Hello! I'm Capt. Troy D. Nash and I'd like to welcome you to my website! If Light Tackle Flats Fishing or Saltwater Fly fishing on the Indian River Lagoon and Mosquito Lagoon sounds exciting, then you're in the right place! Mosquito Lagoon, near Titusville Florida is known for it's Flats fishing for Big Bull Redfish and Gator Sea trout and has been named "Redfish Capital of the World" The waters of the Indian River Lagoon Estuary further south and in the Banana River, are home to a wide variety of Saltwater gamefish adding Snook and Tarpon to the list. Many other species of pelagic game fish such as Cobia, Spanish Mackerel and Tripletail, roam the nearshore waters of the ocean near Cocoa Beach too, depending on the season you are here. Stalking "Tailing" Redfish is my thing, but casting to Spotted Sea Trout lounging in potholes on the grass flats or Jumping Tarpon on fly can be just as exciting! |
