Fishing Report: Striped bass fly fishing and reports

Good clear water & temps

OK folks here is the deal for 2010 striped bass fishing here in Portland & Casco Bay

We have a good number of stripers around and water conditions are perfect. There is TONS of small bait around and the fish are well feed.

Charters will be 5:00am-10am (5hrs) unless other plans are arranged. The fishing has been best early morning and over by 10am most days..the fish are feed well with all the bait but are more than willing to take a fly in the early hours. Good shallow water fishing with most fish in the 25\"-36\" range. 8wts perfect.
$400 morning hunts

I will do evening charters on the right tides $300 from 6:00-aprox 9:00pm good fishing and has been some worm hatches.
