Fishing Report: MAY 30th ... Morning ... John and Jannine DeMeritt ... Light Spin Tackle

We left the dock with live Eels in hopes of finding Stripers. I went to a lot of spots where I usually find them but no one was home. We discussed the situation and decided to head over to Cedar Point Lighthouse. We had a good East/Southeast wind which we put to work pushing us down along the sandbar where John hooked up first and then Jannine soon followed, both with Stripers of about 27 to 29 inches using small rubber baits. Five more drifts produced three more Stripers of about the same size and then they were gone. We headed around toward the South Ferry Slip where we found lots of Bluefish on the surface.
