Fishing Report: 6/8/2010
Today was a different day on the ocean. It never ceases to amaze me how something as big as the sea can go from one extreme to another in just a day.
But it can, and it did!!!
Today we were fishing again with some folks that have become good friends and who fish with us on a regular basis!!
They were Mike Neighbors, Denver and Austin Compton, and Scott Morris from Goods, VA.
We headed offshore today and found the bottom fishing to be quite OK. We had a smorgasborg of fish that included Black Bass, Grouper, Amber Jacks, Almaco Jacks, Calico Bass, King Mackerel, Silver Snappers, Triggerfish, Grey Snappers, Vermillion Snappers, American Reds (that we released),and Sharks (most released also).
These same guys are going to be with us again tomorrow as we take Mike's grandson out on a 1/2 day trip on the beach for some Spanish Mackerel and sharks.
I feel honored to be the one that gets the chance to get the little guy on the fish. Check back tomorrow night and see how we do!!!
Till next time, God Bless!!!
Fish On!!!
