Fishing Report: 6/14/2010
On Friday, June 11, we went out in the afternoon with Frank Ciaffalo of Danbury and his guest, Brian Mola of Norwalk. After a few stops we found a large school of bluefish on the surface, and the boys enjoyed steady action for the rest of the trip, bringing in about a dozen and half, keeping about six for the table.

On Sunday morning we sailed with Bill Hughes of NYC and his guests from Houston TX, Dean Plengemeyer and his son, Kyle. They all knew how to handle a spinning reel, so we worked the local areas in pursuit of stripers along the shore. They did quite well, bringing in several striped bass including two keepers–as well as a nice collection of bluefish. While working over rocky structure they lost two nice bass in the 20-lb class. All the fish that morning were caught on light tackle.
